Synecto is an independent product made in Ireland by Synect Group. We're not a clinic, not a chatbot startup, and not a productivity tool. We're a small team building the calmest corner of your day.
Why we made Synecto
Most journaling apps assume you have time and energy to write. Most AI companions feel cold or intrusive. We wanted something different: a space where you could just talk, like to a calm friend who actually remembers, and walk away knowing yourself a little better than you did before.
We're not trying to fix you. We're trying to give you a quieter mirror.
What we won't do
- We won't sell your data. Not now, not ever.
- We won't pretend to be a therapist. Synecto is for reflection, not treatment.
- We won't gamify your inner life. No streaks badges, no leaderboards, no shaming.
- We won't make the AI feel "too smart." Calm and quiet beats clever, every time.
Independent and bootstrapped
We have no investors. We answer only to the people who use Synecto. That's the only way we know how to keep the product honest about privacy, sustainable about pricing, and slow enough to actually be calming.
